Excited to see our research on food insecurity moving into community-led action through the work of the Ottawa Valley Food Security Project (OVFSP), a grassroots organization dedicated to uniting families in West Ottawa and beyond to cultivate locally grown vegetables, share healthy food through Food Sharing Stands, and work together toward food sovereignty. Great to see all the amazing work of the OVFSP Organizing Committee at the 2024 Kick-Off Event at the Carp branch of the Ottawa Public Library.
