Dr. Kehoe MacLeod is heading to Nova Scotia to represent CCAER at the CIHR Institute on Aging’s Summer Program in Aging (SPA) focused on longer-living older adults. This was a great opportunity meet doctoral candidates and other postdocs from across Canada. She also got to work closely with the amazing Dr. Katie Aubrecht, the Canada Research Chair in health equity and social justice at St. Francis Xavier University and Dr. Janice Keefe, Director of the Nova Scotia Centre on Aging at Mount Saint Vincent University. Keep your eye open for a new project centered around hot tea as culturally-informed care in nursing home – a brainchild of this SPA!
