Happy to share that our partnership studying the connections between policymakers and food security change champions in the North has received funding to continue for another year. We ranked 11th in the CIHR Catalyst Grant: Community Based Research in Climate Change Priority Areas – Food Security in Northern Communities competition for Phase 2 of our project, “Collaborating with public health change champions to share and support Indigenous-led programming and transformative action on climate-related food insecurity in Northern communities” ($125,000). We are looking forward to opportunities to connect in-person with our partners in the North during community sharing circles later this year.
