On behalf of our Community Advisory Committee and in partnership with our Principal Investigators Drs. Mwali Murray (uOttawa), Elizabeth Onyango (uAlberta), and Patrick Cortbaoui (McGill), we are thrilled to announce that our research project “Co-designing roadmaps for promoting culturally relevant food in long-term care homes in partnership with community food programs to address modifiable risk factors for poor health in the African, Caribbean, and Black population in Canada” was funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (4 years, $707,624). We cannot wait to get started on this amazing project!
