Thrilled to meet fellow uOttawa researcher, Tamara Donnelly, who is also working alongside Indigenous advisor Celina Wolki, and in collaboration with Sonia Wesche and Tiff-Annie Kenny, to do food insecurity research in Paulatuk in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR). Tamara is studying community members’ perspectives on the food retail environment and we are studying how to improve communication and collaboration among Northern food security change champions and policymakers in the South to faciliate the flow of resources to better support Indigenous community leaders in their work.
